I just love this beautiful covered bridge on Pierce Stocking scenic drive in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lake Shore! On a rainy spring day after passing through the bridge I stopped and really enjoyed myself walking through the woods near the bridge and along the road which was still wet from rain. Everything was peaceful and quiet. No one else was around because of the rainy, and foggy weather. I didn't know exactly how foggy till I got to the over looks for Lake Michigan. At that time, I couldn't see a few feet in front of me with fog like pea soup! Anyway, that's another story for another image. For now, just enjoy a light spring rain on a lovely covered bridge and young foliage in the forest!
