Description
You just have to love the beauty of Michigan's longest suspension bridge!! Mackinac Bridge is five miles long, stretching across the straits of Mackinac, connecting the lower part of Michigan to the Upper Peninsula!! In this image there hadn't been a cloud in the sky the whole day long. There had been a bit of a haze in the air though. I went out in the late afternoon just in time to catch these last glorious golden rays of sunlight as they hit the hazy air creating a peachy golden glow around the bridge. The calmness of the waters on Lake Michigan allowed for beautiful reflections of the bridge towers!! Rain or shine, clouds or not, day or night, Mackinac Bridge is beautiful!!
